Clear, film forming primer for use with all silicone RTVs.
- Dow Corning 1205 Prime Coat is a dilute solution of reactive materials in solvent.
Basic Uses: Dow Corning 1205 Prime Coat is used to promote adhesion of certain one-part silicone sealants and coatings to a variety of construction materials such as plywood, masonry, metal, painted surfaces and some plastics.
- Limitations: This product is neither tested nor represented as suitable for medical or pharmaceutical uses.
- Packaging: Dow Corning 1205 Prime Coat is supplied in 13.5-fl oz/ 10.9-oz (399-mL/309-g), 1- gal/6.4-lb (3.8-L/2.9-kg) and 55-gal/353-lb (208-L/160-kg) containers.
Storage and Shelf Life:
For best results, store below 32﹉C (90﹉F).
Containers should be kept tightly sealed when not in use.
After use, any remaining primer should be returned to a sealable container as soon as possible for storage.
Dow Corning 1205 Prime Coat has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture.
