Silicone grease especially for brake pad shim.
Molykote® AS-880N Grease is a silicone oil/silica thickened grease containing specially formulated solid lubricants.
It will remain serviceable at temperatures from -40' to 204'C(-40' to 400'F).
Molykote AS-880N Grease is designed to lubricate between metal/metal and metal/plastic components in disc brake systems.
It is commonly applied between the brake pad and brake shim(s) to reduce and prevent squeal noise that occurs during braking. |
