IRGAGUARD B 1110 is a LDPE master batch containing 10 % IRGAGUARD B 1000 as active ingredient.
IRGAGUARD B 1000 is a highly active antimicrobial effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria by inhibiting their growth.
The combination of low migration rates versus high activity of IRGAGUARD B 1000 generally provides antimi-crobial efficacy on the plastics surface over the entire life of the plastic article.
The use of IRGAGUARD B 1110 can be recommended in applications where temperatures of 250 - 270
C are not exceeded.
Suitable polymers are polyolefins (PP, LD & HDPE) and ABS.
Key areas of applications are sanitary accessories (i.e. tooth brushes, toilet seats), appliances, garbage containers, hospital supplies and others. |
