LD 655 |
homopolymer |
LD 655 is a low density, flexible and compatible homopolymer. Increasing amounts, from 1 to 10% by weight, of this product added to waxes increase the tensile strength and melting point of the blends. These blends give tough coatings with high gloss, improved scuff resistance, higher blocking temperatures and better grease resistance. In higher concentrations and with appropriate tackifiers - such as ESCOREZ hydrocarbon resins - it can be used in hot melt adhesive formulations where good heat resistance and moderate adhesion performance is required. This product is used in blends and therefore the processing conditions depend on the level of addition, blend partner and specific application. |
