Akrochem’s Proaid AC 1060 is a light colored homogenizing agent and softening resin for use in most elastomers.
Proaid AC 1060 improves the blending of elastomers, reduces compound viscosity and improves processing: improves mold flow of high durometer stocks without the normal softening effect of a process aid.
For optimum blending of polar and non-polar elastomers, it is recommended that the polymers and Proaid AC 1060 be blended first, before adding the other compound ingredients.
Usage level of Proaid AC 1060 is 5 - 15 PHR.
