| Anitoxidant S |

Akrochem Antioxidant S is an octylated diphenylamine anti-degradant.
It imparts excellent heat resistance to most natural and synthetic polymers, especially in polychloroprene where it does not contribute to scorch as other anti-degradants often do (in many instances it actually improves scorch resistance).
When used in combination with Akrochem Antioxidant 58 or 60, a synergism produces outstanding heat resistance.
Nonblooming at normal loadings of 1 to 4 phr.
Like other amine antioxidants, Antioxidant S will discolor and stain, but very slightly.
Antioxidant S typically can be used in most colors except very light whites or yellows. |
