Antioxidant DQ is polymerized 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline.
It is particularly useful in rubber goods requiring resistance to high temperatures.
It can also be used as a copper and manganese inhibitor. |

Appearance : Yellow to amber color (Powder and Pellet)
Specific Gravity: 1.095
Softening point: 85'C - 95'C (Powder and Pellets)
Odor : Very weak, but characteristic
Solubility: Acetone, ethyl acetate, benzene, alcohol, methylene chloride and carbon etrachloride. Insoluble in water.
Storage Stability: Excellent
Dispersion: Excellent, easily incorporated. Pellets suggested for banbury mixing only. Use powder for mill and solvent systems. |
