OMYACARB 6, one of a series of beneficiated, high calcium limestone products, produced by Omya, Inc., has intermediate particle size distribution.
OMYACARB 6, a high brightness material, provides a relatively low cost fine product, while maintaining the problem of oversize "grit".
OMYACARB 6 finds application in mechanical rubber goods and flooring, low cost paints, adhesives, "gunks", putties, caulks, glazes, tile grouts and joint systems.
Approvals:
Food Chemicals Codex - OMYACARB 6 meets the requirements listed under "Limestone Ground" in the Food Chemicals Codex and is approved for functional use in foods. |
