				| KRONITEX 100 |  |  |  | Triaryl phosphate |  |  |  | No 68937-41-7 |  |  |  | It is a synthetic triaryl phosphate that provides high flame retardance and a good balance of properties more economically than does TCP. KRONITEX 100 phosphate ester is used extensively in PVC as a flame retardant plasticizer artd as an aid to fusion. In plastisols, it offers good viscosity stability combined with the rapid fusion characteristic of triaryl phosphates. It is also a compatibilizing plasticizer, allowing higher loadings of secondary plasticizers without danger of exudation. It is used as a catalyst carrier and pigment vehicle for polyurethanes to which it also contributes flame retardance. It finds utility in rubber belting and mechanical goods where it functions as a processing aid, plasticizer, and flame retardant.
