BYK-CHEMIE Hydrophobic Wetting Agents W 900, W 965, W910 and W 980 are outstanding surface treatments for fillers used in polyester composites.
Among their benefits are:
More stable dispersion (i.e, less separation and settling)

Wetting agent, BYK-W 900 is a synthetic product of the ester type.
BYK-W 910 is an unsaturated fatty acid.
They are designed to displace air and moisture from the filler surface and establish an organic layer around the filler
In order to be compatible with the variety of fillers and resins available, the design of the wetting agents vary. |
