Flame Retardant Additive for Polyamides AMGARD EDAP is recommended for use in polypropylene and in other olefins, and in most thermoset applications. AMGARD EDAP is a neutral compound in aqueous systems, and is therefore compatible with co-additives used in curable systems such as coatings, urethanes and epoxies. Suggested Uses: Thermosets: Polyesters, Epoxies, Epoxy/Thermoplastic Blends Thermoplastics: Polypropylene, Olefin Polymers Applications: Extrusion, Molding Film, Fibers Performance Benefits of AMGARD EDAP: Very high phosphoric acid content. Neutral pH in aqueous systems. Small particle size for maximum efficiency and retention of physical properties in finished goods. Excellent thermal stability High efficiency-UL94VO in polypropylene at 30% loadings. |
