Octosol A-18A is considered a more appropriate foaming agent for use in acrylic latex frothed compounds.
Being an ammonium-neutralized surfactant, it offers the opportunity for reduced sodium ion content in the formulations, where such fixed alkali ions are believed to retard the cross-linking cure systems. |
