Octojet 104 is the anionic aqueous dispersion of a medium jetness (flat, or non-blue) furnace carbon black. This is a recommended grade of black for general purpose pigmenting in latex compounds, adhesives and paints, in fibers, inks, concrete, and paper coating.
Octojet 104 is pebble-milled in water with sufficient dispersing aids to prevent particle re-agglomeration. This milling provides finely divided particles for maximum tinting strength and dispersion stability. |
